Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and Dakota Fanning are in the running to star in the movie version of Jessica Bendiger’s “The Seven Rays”. In a recent interview, Jessica said that she has pictured Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Dakota Fanning potraying the central character in “The Seven Rays”.

However, when pressed further, she added that Taylor Swfit came naturally to her mind since she had an exotic look that was very appealing for the character. But Jessica said “May the best woman with the part”. We think Selena Gomez and Dakota Fanning are as good to play the role as Taylor Swift. This will be a tough choice for the makers to decide.

In the meantime, Taylor Swift is in the news with Cyber-shot Camera commercial. Dakota Fanning is awaiting her Twilght Eclispe movie release. And Selena Gomez is busy wih her shooting schedule for her upcoming movie “Monte Carlo”

Dakota earlier expressed her admiration for tatoo-artist Kat von D on Jay Leno and according to this article, Dakota had the chance to meet her when doing an interview with Lopez that will air today.

hosted 16 year-old actress Dakota Fanning tonight on his “Lopez Tonight” talk show.

Talk show host George Lopez surprised Dakota Fanning with a faux tattoo drawn by Kat Von D, and he also chats with rocker Gene Simmons on “Lopez Tonight” Monday, March 22.

Actress Dakota Fanning explains to George that she is a big fan of tattoo artist Kat Von D.:

“I love her…I just think she is so cool….she is so talented and she is such a great artist…”

George Lopez asks Dakota about her “no tattoo” contract her mom made her sign:
“When I was like 11 she made me sign a contract and it says ‘I will not ever get a tattoo.’ and its like the little X and a line and I had to sign my name….”

George then surprised Dakota with a walk-on by Kat Von D to give Dakota Fanning a fake arm tattoo.

Dakota has been nominated for a Young Artist Award for her performance in Coraline.

The awards will take place on April 11th at the Beverly Garland in Studio City, California.

No word yet on whether Taylor Lautner will attend.

Great news today, Coraline in which Dakota does the voice for the character Coraline has been nominated for an Oscar in the Best Animated Feature category. Hopefully this means Dakota will attend the awards ceremony but no information about that has been released yet. Stay tuned!
