It’s no secret that Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart are pals.

So, while it doesn’t come as a complete surprise to hear the War of the Worlds actress speak fondly about her Runaways and Twilight Saga costar in the latest issue of Glamour, it’s still pretty cool nevertheless.

“When we’re together, we’re not talking about movie stuff,” Fanning tells the magazine. “She’s just my really good friend, you know? We go out. We stay in a lot too. I’m a homebody!“

Of course, this isn’t the first time Fanning has chatted about Stewart.

In fact, while promoting Breaking Dawn Part 2 last November, the 18-year-old actually came to her BFF’s defense in the wake of that whole cheating scandal.

“Well, I just think that media frenzies like that…Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicize the struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all that,” Fanning told InStyle UK at the time. “It’s like, ‘Why do you think you are the authority to judge people’s experiences?‘”

Yep. When it comes to buds, Fanning’s definitely a keeper.

Doing her best to support her latest work, Dakota Fanning attended the screening of “Very Good Girls” at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Tuesday (January 22).

Written and directed by Naomi Foner, the drama follows two New York City girls who pact to lose their virginity during their first summer out of high school. When they both fall for the same street artist, the friends find their connection tested for the first time.

Others joining the 18-year-old actress in the cast are Elizabeth Olsen, Demi Moore, Peter Sarsgaard, and Ellen Barkin. Look for “Very Good Girls” to hit theaters later this year.

Earlier this month, Elizabeth was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star award alongside, Juno Temple, Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, British-born Andrea Riseborough, and India’s Suraj Sharma.

On November 15, Dakota attended at a special screening of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 hosted by The Cinema Society with the Hollywood Reporter and Samsung Galaxy.. Dakota is wearing a Valentino gown and bag, Jimmy Choo shoes, and Graziela and Broken English rings, so awesome!
